I once popped over to a girlfriends house and when I walked in I thought she had been baking. The scents of citrus, cinnamon and cloves throughout her house were so divine I couldn’t work out what she was making. When she told me it was mulled wine , I was like “yes please!” It is the perfect chilly afternoon beverage, and a great one to slow cook if you have friends coming round.
