The Best Baked Brie
The crisp pastry, sweet cranberry jam, and crunchy walnuts - yum! Once this delightful parcel has been baked, the gooey, golden, goodness is just impossible to resist. Scooped up with a slice of sour dough, this baked brie is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Introduced to me a few years ago by my bestie AKA Sehra the ultimate cheese platter queen, I honestly will never look back.
Baked Brie
Ingredients:
1 block of brie
1 tbsp cranberry jam, fig jam, or quince paste
6-10 crushed walnuts
1 square of puff pastry
Sourdough or crackers, to serve
Method:
Preheat your oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Lay the puff pastry on the tray and place the block of brie in the center.
Spread the jam of your choice over the top of the cheese, then sprinkle with crushed walnuts.
Wrap the puff pastry around the brie, sealing it to fully cover the cheese.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve warm with your favourite sourdough or crackers and enjoy!
