DIY Acai Bowls

You just can’t beat the taste and texture of an Acai bowl on a summers day. I always have so many of you reaching out when I make mine so here you have it, the recipe I use to make mine. It’s our “go to “ after a gym session, or on a weekend when we aren’t rushing out the door. Its lights, delicious, healthy and my #1 favourite thing now coming into the warmer months. I have list below of the toppers that I use, but feel free to add any of your own.

Ingredients:

 -1x Frozen Acai Pouch (aldi/coles) otherwise acai powder

-½ c frozen berries

-1 frozen banana

-¼ cup liquid of your choice (I often just use kombucha)

Optional Supergreens Superfood Powder

 Method:

Blitz all ingredients in a blender of bullet, and top with all of your favourite ingredients.

 

Top with:

Granola

Fresh Berries

Fresh Banana

Kiwi fruit

Sliced apple

Cashew nut butter/peanut butter

Coconut flakes

Cacao nibs

Buckinis
