Fruit (Thermo Cooker) Gummies

As you all know, I LOVE my gummies! See O.G recipe HERE. The recipe I’m sharing below is the new and improved 5 minute version

( Hello ALDI Thermo Cooker!)

What a game changer it’s been. Exactly the same ingredients with a different method of cooking, hope you guys enjoy them!

Ingredients :

200g of fruit, I love frozen Mango, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, Apples & Pears

Approx 250mls of Kombucha or cold pressed juice ( Just make sure it’s the Good Stuff!)

4 TBS gelatin- the supermarket gelatine tastes a little funky to me, I use the Nutra Organics Grass Fed, which has so many benefits, such as high nutrients, improved collagen, better Omega-3 Fatty acids and great for your gut health!

Method:

  1. Place the frozen/fresh fruit in the ALDI thermo cooker on Speed 1, for 3 minutes on 100°

2. Meanwhile place half of the kombucha in a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over the top, this process is to “bloom” the gelatin, basically meaning to rehydrate it again after to turn into a liquid before using in recipes.. You will find that the gelatine will then firm up.

3. Once the fruit has cooked, chop on speed 6 for 10 seconds

4. Add bloomed gelatin and a dash more of the kombucha to the Thermo Cooker

5. Mix at -3 for 30 seconds, then transfer the mixture into a jug or small bottle with an easy pour nozzle, pour into silicone moulds

If you don’t have any silicone moulds just pour them into a container- place them in the fridge to set and then cut into gummies cubes. Should only take around 15 minutes to set, otherwise, leave them in the moulds and pop out as you eat them.

Enjoy!
