Easy Air Fryer Meatballs

Even with just 10 minutes to spare, I promise these meatballs can be whipped up in no time! Perfect in the air fryer, stove top, or even in the oven will work perfectly.

Ingredients:

500g lean beef mince

1 zucchini, coarsely grated

1 clove garlic, crushed

1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tsp dried oregano, or any dried herbs you have

700g Ceres Organics Tomato Passata with Basil

1/2 bunch basil, leaves picked

Method:

Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix together mince, zucchini, garlic, breadcrumbs, and dried herbs. Season the mixture with pepper.

Step 2: For consistent-sized meatballs, use a 1/4 measuring cup and roll the mixture into balls.

Step 3: Place the meatballs into the Air-fryer at 185° for 10 minutes. After the first 10 minutes, give them a shake or turn them over and repeat the process until they are browned. You can do this same process for the oven, and if using the stove top, just 1 tbs of olive oil in a frypan.

Step 4: Take an ovenproof dish and combine passata and basil. Stir the mixture well. Bake it for about 10 minutes or until the passata has thickened, and the meatballs are fully cooked.

To serve, garnish with the remaining basil and, if desired, sprinkle plenty of parmesan cheese and optional chili flakes.

Enjoy!
