Lazy days calls for making Banana Bread
TIPS:
#1- Always remove the skin and pre chop up your rotting Bananas, place in a snap lock bag ready to freeze. There is nothing worse, then trying to peel a frozen Banana!
#2- I actually sub the Golden Syrup for Medjool Date Syrup, or any other sweetener is just fine. Honey, Rice malt, Maple Syrup
#3- If you find that your bread is browning too much on top, before the inside is cooked through. Just pop some foil over it, and continue to bake.
Optional Butter & Wine with that Risotto?
I’m not too sure about you, but it’s a YES from me when it comes to adding the “optional butter & wine” into my risotto. This has got to be one of our top ‘Go To’ family meals that keeps everyone happy. I’m not going to lie, I personally find the constant stirring quite therapeutic, and the perfect timing for the optional wine ;-) Enjoy!
Boeuf Bourguignon, A family favourite you just keep coming back too!
This is a recipe that I got off my Aunty years ago that we just cant get enough of. We tend to cook this on the cooler night’s, and it’s definitely one you can start ahead of time. If we have a full afternoon schedule on, it get’s prepped first thing in the morning and can slow cook all day long. Nothing beats walking in the door to the heavenly smell of dinner ready to go! Enjoy x
