Mulled Red Wine

I once popped over to a girlfriends house and when I walked in I thought she had been baking. The scents of citrus, cinnamon and cloves throughout her house were so divine I couldn’t work out what she was making. When she told me it was mulled wine , I was like “yes please!” It is the perfect chilly afternoon beverage, and a great one to slow cook if you have friends coming round.

Ellie's Famous Quiches

A few years ago I worked with a gorgeous girl, Renee, who is one of three sisters that just love to create! Since then the girls have come together to create Adelfes the Label which is inspired by antiquity, culture and each other.

Renee created a cook book that were recipes from the family, for the family. How amazing! I was so grateful to be gifted her gorgeous book and have made her little sister, Ellie, famous quiches ever since. I hope you enjoy these ( 2 ingredient) quiches as much as our family does. x

Happy to say they got the same response in our house as well! Perfect to prep in advance, pack in the kids lunchboxes, or even great for that mid afternoon snack.

Blueberry & Banana Bread

Who doesn’t love a good banana bread? I’ve shared with you before my original recipe, but this time we have a slightly healthier take if you’re watching your calories. Still with all the amazing goodness, we have subbed the butter for oil (the good oils), and used natural sweetners rather than sugar. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do! This recipe is perfect for those unexpected visitors popping in, school lunch boxes or that 3 pm pick me up when you fancy something sweet.

James no knead bread

We were staying in an Air Bnb in Hakuba, Japan. And in the description of our Lodge, the host mentioned he baked fresh bread everyday for his guests. This was a big tick for us, being the foodies that we are, so we booked the lodge and I was determined that by the end of that week that recipe was going to be one I would remember forever! It was then that we were introduced to “James’s Bread” as we now call it in our house.
